Emily Koko’s new single, written in lockdown, reflects an ongoing struggle of love, con-fusion and the feeling of not being enough.
Written in lockdown in July 2020, „More Than That“ was produced in Stuttgart, Germany. Together with producer WastedThoughts they created a track that aims to de-liver heartfelt lyrics and mellow sound.
“More Than That questions one sided love and the feeling of not being enough,“ EmilyKoko says. “It is so important to understand: ‘You are enough’ some people are justnot ready for your love.”
Emily Koko’s debut single „Together Alone“ reflects on thoughts of loneliness and love.
“It is fascinating and sad at the same time how one can feel so alone while being together with someone” Emily wonders.
”You can love someone endlessly but it doesn’t mean anything if they can’t give back the love you need“ she reflects. „You end up being together but you are alone, individually.”
